i wanna be... #anewageinspiration

#Anewageinspiration is a project and feature on my blog that I have been developing behind the scenes for a while, in an age where technology, trends and people are constantly changing it is increasingly hard to develop something that stands the test of time - something that inspires people. Therefore I wanted to interview brands, magazines, writers and creators that inspire me on their view of the future, how they develop ideas and how it becomes a reality. I think that interviewing them  might even change your ideas for the future and help inspire you to do something new or change what you buy. Sustainable and ethical buying is an area that I have wanted to explore for a while, increasingly buying cruelty free beauty products, clothes from charity shops and more sustainably sourced clothes as well.

I wanted to write this post just to let you know about this project as the first interview with Made jewellery will be going up on Monday. I'm so excited to show you the q&a and hopefully it is the first of many more to come, it's something I've wanted to do for a while as I feel that just talking about brands, people and magazines that inspire me just isn't enough. I've always wanted to know more about what it takes to get something out in such a competitive market and I also thought this project is a great way for you to get to know a variety of different people closer than you would if I just mentioned them in a lifestyle post such as my 'what I've been loving lately' posts. Made jewellery is absolutely stunning and whilst the brand inspires me, I want to know what inspires them!

But... I want you to get involved as well! There are so many amazing and inspirational brands and people and I would love to interview them for my blog and for you to see some new age inspirations. Tweet me anyone you would like me to chat to with the hashtag #anewageinspiration (when I interview someone I shall use the hashtag as well).

I hope you enjoy the interviews coming up and be sure to let me know what you think (or you can always tweet me with #anewageinspiration).

  6. What an amazing idea, I'm very excited about this series and the topic of sustainable and ethical buying is really close to my heart. I'm trying to stick to cruelty-free products but it can be hard sometimes - not so much with makeup but with other cosmetic products. Ethical clothing is really important, too, and I'd love to learn more about that. Inspirational brands that you could interview are Lush (as they are fighting animal testing) or companies producing vegan alternatives - or maybe even owners of vegan restaurants xx

    1. Thank you so much Mira. It can definitely be hard to find alternatives to normal toiletries that are are cruelty free but I will definitely look into Lush and vegan companies to interview :) xx
