New Year's resolutions

New Years resolutions are always a little skeptical, does anyone really stick to them? You can set really unrealistic goals for yourself but they will always be personal to you and what you want to achieve that year. I would set 'goals' for my blog, but I'm enjoying just writing and sharing posts so much I guess that is my goal; to stay blogging. With school taking priority there will be weeks I will only be able to post one post but blogging is like a stress release for me, I love it and hope to continue blogging regularly throughout 2016. So, what are my resolutions for this year?

Put my phone down more often. 
Consumed by social media and the internet, there isn't a day I don't go without wifi. I'm obviously not the only one where this is the case, however in 2016 I don't want to always be on my phone. 

Be more focused. 
This is actually a continuing resolution from 2015. Towards the end of the year I was more focused on my school work, knowing what had to be done and when - completing to the best of my ability. As a result I was less stressed as I was not completing work at the last minute, but the quicker I got it done the more time I had for my blog and other more relaxing things. The only issue last year was that I used to get extremely side tracked with my phone *basically meaning I could spend an hour just scrolling through Instagram and Pinterest* however this year I am going to try not to do this. Hopefully I will stick to this resolution!

Focus on my well-being.
Despite this being totally stereotypical, I do want to focus more on my well-being this year. Nothing drastic, but slight changes to improve my lifestyle and also my outlook on myself and others. Little things like taking time out to totally chill and just watch YouTube instead of constantly trying to do something productive #thelifeofaworkaholic will improve my stress levels and just general happiness.

Get enough sleep!
I do probably get the right amount of sleep, but I wake up feeling so tired and unawake, which is totally unlike me considering I'm a morning person! Just an hour extra in bed can change my mood in the morning therefore this year I'm going to try and get an extra hour of sleep in as I think that will improve my performance and energy throughout the day.
